Personally I'm going for Kihar the Tormentor in my current campaign. The Ice-Forged Legion is also an incredible piece of artillery, but I don't really like using it as Norsca, as it feels more flavourful to ditch cowardly ranged stuff and just rush into glorious mass melee brawls. Both embedded in an army (he gets a dragon mount and fire/shadow/metal spells), and as a campaign map agent with 95% success chance on all actions. However, he starts at level 30 and you can't pick skill points for him (iirc, could be they changed it) so you'll miss out on a lot of important blue line skills.īut the hero option of the Serpent, Kihar the Tormentor, is an absolute beast. Warlike and cruel, the Norse are fanatically devoted champions of the Dark Gods and the baneful scourge of their foes. Now they've backpedaled on that and put Norsca factions there. Norsca is inhabited by a race of savage and ferocious humans known as the Norscans fur-clad warriors and berserkers of hairy brawn who sail the seas in fearsome longships in order to unleash their devastating fury upon the south. Yet atm the Norse can only be found in Norsca nad around it (kinda makes sense) as this little map shows: All the other chaotic Tribes (or the waste tribes) where represented by WoC. This is of course only silly flavour considerations, from a pure gameplay perspective he's a really strong lord. Let's Play we've seen, that there are now a bunch of Norse factions in the wastes at the great bastion. Feels like he could stab you in the back at any moment, the avian bastard. But I don't like having a greater demon of Tzeentch around, I like Wulfrik to be the undisputed tool of the gods in the world. Iirc, it just adds +100 chaos corruption to random provinces.Īzrik the Maze Keeper is a pretty good lord iirc. The Crow/Nurgle plague is pretty lackluster. Then Hound/Khorne or Serpent/Slaanesh are probably the best tier 3s. I think the best is to get all 4 gods to tier 2 first.
